Their fossils, sometimes preserved for millions of years deep within layers of rock, invite us to uncover the mysteries of a vanished world and imagine the work of the paleontologists who bring them to light. With its "Tombeau des dinosaures" creation, Shapline offers an original pencil holder inspired by paleontological excavation sites and the remains of prehistoric animals.
Its four sides feature bas-reliefs depicting different fossils: a Plesiosaur, a Tyrannosaurus rex skull, a Stegosaurus skull, and a Deinosuchus skeleton. Designed for 3D printing, this decorative storage box can be made with either a classic lid or an alternative version adorned with a Velociraptor claw. A creation that combines organization, imagination, and a passion for prehistory, perfect for bringing a touch of adventure to your desk.

The prehistoric fossils featured on the box are:

The box can be printed with two different types of lids:

We recommend using a 3D printer with a build plate measuring at least 25 x 25 cm to print certain parts. Otherwise, these parts may need to be divided into two sections.
Making and finishing recommendations
We recommend using wood-filled filament to achieve a more realistic and textured appearance. You can then apply paint to create a shaded effect on the bas-reliefs, using a shading wash such as Agrax Earthshade, before applying a light coat of clear varnish to the 3D-printed parts.
